Industries we serve include:

Home Furnishings
For decades, we have helped furniture manufacturers make their products more comfortable. Our nonwoven products are found in sofas, chairs and other upholstery, providing padding for arms, backs, cushions and more. In addition, our densified polyester fibers are often used in place of, or in conjunction with, foam in outdoor furniture.

Appliances
Our polyester can be utilized in a variety of ways in appliances ranging from dishwashers to water heaters. Nonwoven material provides excellent insulation in appliances where noise must be abated for consumer satisfaction. It can also be used to protect components that need shielding.

Cleaning/Hygiene
The cleaning/hygiene industry is a growing market for us. Our nonwoven material is increasingly being employed in a variety of cleaning and hygiene operations as a base layer or as a scrubbing component. We can design the fabric in such a way that water can permeate it, making it an ideal foundation for cleaning applications.

Bedding
Founded decades ago as Thomasville Bedding Company, TD Fiber possesses unrivaled expertise in producing nonwoven materials for bedding. Our polyester is excellent for providing padding on top of springs or coils in mattresses. In addition, our densified fibers are a key component in the manufacture of playpen and travel crib mats. We also make mattress cores for short-life bedding applications, such as dormitories and prisons.

Packaging
When a product needs protection against damage, our fabric comes to the rescue. High quality and moisture-resistant, our nonwoven material can be engineered and cut to meet specific needs. It can be configured in multiple ways to create excellent padding and packaging materials for jewelry boxes, small to large gift boxes, food and flower e-commerce deliveries, pouches, decorative containers and more. Acoustical
TD Fiber uses a fine-denier polyester to create materials for many acoustical applications, including sound mitigation in audio speakers. This type of fiber has 10 times as many threads per square inch as the polyester that is used in furniture. That allows it to absorb more sound while also making it very lightweight. Densified polyester fabric also is employed for sound reduction in some applications.

Automotive
Beneath the surface in the interior of a car, you will find nonwoven fabric protecting occupants from road noise and making their ride more comfortable. Our high-loft nonwoven products are a key component in headliners and doors, providing superior insulation.

Filtration
Our thermally bonded material can be used to create filters for a variety of industries. Some examples include filtration products for paint booth installations and cube and
pocket filters utilized in manufacturing or commercial HVAC equipment.
